Hair Loss Regrowth Products

8/15/2007 | Posted In: Hair Loss
I'm not sure how many of you have looked into these all natural herbal hair loss regrowth products but I've personally started doing some research on them.

Apparently there are about 7 products out there that are ranked to be the best hair regrowth products on the market, what I'm trying to figure out is could any of this really be true?

The products I have gathered are:

Rogain
Provillus
Procerin
Profollica
Hair Genesis
Propecia
ScalpMed

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Propecia and Rogain, i think are the leading product now in the market. However you must be aware that there are accompanying side effects, especially with medications. And ironically enough one of those is hair loss. That is why you have to work closely with your doctor to ensure that you are getting the benefits. Read about Follicular Unit Extraction Information here, to help you decide which treatment to pursue.

I believe that other than having hair transplant you cannot bring back those hair loss. Genetic composition place a great part for hair loss, unless you make hostile decision like having hair transplant then you cannot have that thicker and fuller hair in the next years of your life. See Hair Transplant FAQ's here: Scientifically Proven Hair Transplant Technique for Men and Women.

Hair loss of women may be one of the first signals of hormonal imbalance, illness and lack of proper nutrition. Concern about your hair thinning isn’t just vanity, it’s an important aspect of taking care of your health.

You need to understand how hair behaves at and under the scalp level, so being aware of any changes regarding your hair growth and its appearance, goes beyond simple vanity. Above average hair loss or hair thinning tells you something is not quite right.

What Does Health Have To Do With Hair Loss Of Women? While normal hair loss levels are anywhere from 50-100 strands daily, accelerated female hair thinning can be caused by various physiological factors, telling us something’s not right. Aside from poor nutrition and emotional stress, metabolic and hormonal imbalances are other factors causing hair loss in women.

Blood tests can determine if anemia or low thyroid levels are some culprits causing your hair thinning. There are also a number of other tests that can be done for more serious causes of hair loss. A natural hair loss treatment, can provide your hair the proper nutrients needed to combat your hair thinning, as well as benefiting your health, in general.

Why does womens hair loss happen and what can be done about it? Something is happening at the hair follicle level to cause your hair thinning. We need to understand a little more about the hair follicle. For one, there are 4 distinct phases your hair follicles go through during a regular hair growth cycle:

1. Growth phase (anagen)

2. Catagen - sort of like a “transition” phase

3. Telogen (resting)

4. Mesanagen (returning growth)

A hair growth cycle can last 2-5 years per follicle. A hair follicle can get stuck in the telogen or resting phase, resulting in womens hair loss. When a big group of follicles shut down in one spot, bald spots occur. This is a slow process the majority of the time, but in severe cases, it happens all at once causing a clump of hair to fall out.

What’s important to note, the telogen phase, by design is temporary. There are so many stressors that “shock’ the hair follicles into the resting phase. And just as swiftly, the follicles can be turned back on when the stress is reduced. With hair loss of women, those experiencing moderate hair loss thinning, can see huge improvements simply by monitoring their stress levels and paying attention to their diet.

Women and hair loss and the telogen phase - why does the hair follicle prematurely enter into the telogen phase, causing hair thinning? What makes them break their normal cycle?

While each women is different, some of the common causes are:

*Emotional and physical stress

*Genetics

*Hormonal imbalance

*Immune system off

*Thyroid problems

*Poor nutrition

*Disease

*Medications

*Radiation or Chemotherapy

*Blood loss

*Surgical procedures

You may have heard of the term “telogen effluvium”. It is defined as sudden and uncharacteristic hair loss - usually not localized. That happens when more hair follicles than normal are shocked into the telogen phase. So, again it’s possible for stressors to be responsible for the disruption of normal follicle growth cycle.

How can you fight the hair loss of women? Since stress is a major player in female hair loss/thinning, giving your body more support through supplements and taking care of yourself, goes a long way to help boost your hair growth. A lot of women are incorporating Minoxidil (with wonderful results) into their hair thinning care.

I’ve come across a natural hair loss treatment at curemyhairloss.info that is helping women get incredible results.

About the Author:
You can either live with your female thinning hair, accept it as your “fate” or do something about it. Are you tired of dealing with the stress and anxiety that you deal with on a daily basis - just to try to get your hair to do behave? The good news is that womens hair losscan be treated and managed. Provillus hair regrowth may be what you need to get your confidence back.

I recently got an order for a new product called OOKISA that comes with shampoo, conditioner and a scalp potion. $99 for a 2 months supply.
I also tried Emu Oil Shampoo and Conditioner and that STOPPED the hair loss. I also tried their vitamins and it worked BETTER taking them with it.
But I think the best thing is using a scalp conditioner you can buy in the drug stores.
Mostly made of oils like B&B or ISOPLUS. (mostly castor and coconut oils). They're inexpensive and greasy, but a once a week treatment at night will keep your hair from falling out.

I begins getting my hair lost since around 21 or 22. I didn't think that I would be able to fix my hair loss problem sine my father and my grand father also have/had the problem with the hair loss.

I started using the hair growth product about 5 to 6 years ago and none of them work. Just last year I started Rogaine combine with Procerin, and I see positive result. But, it would take about 3 months to see the result and if I miss the treatments for about 2-3 days in the roll then I have to start it all over again. It is just so difficult to keep up with the daily treatments.

I will try Provillus this time to see if it really as good as it claims.

I don't know if I wanna try Propecia. I heard it could give the male thing dysfunctional.
