I have been suffering from Psoriasis for 13 years and right now there is no medical cute for Psoriasis. Right now i use this stuff called DermaZinc and it helps my flair ups. Its the closest thing i have found to a "cure". How long have you been suffering from Psoriasis? Found anything like a home remedy that helps?

i had my first bad case of psoriasis that still is lingering and it has been 4 years. what i have found to help it was by a fluke. a friend of mine ask me to try this product called rosehips and hibiscus scar cream. she said it helped her scar and was very moisturizing. i gave up all hope of finding something to help that wasn't a steroid but i gave it a shot. in 2 days i noticed that the lesions were calming. i wasn't so itchy and the lesions starting on my hands had stopped forming. i still have patches on my knee and my lower back but all the other lesions are gone. i am still as stressed as i was before but the lesions on my knee and back are slowly going away. i also started taking extra vitamin d3 about midway in the cream therapy. i must have been lacking d3 because it helped the cream work faster. i was amazed. i never thought anything would work. so publically i would like to thank my girlfriend, the company who makes it and the makers of vit d3.

It's not curable but it is treatable....
Self-care for psoriasis:
Reduce stress levels through meditation and Yoga .
After bath or wash pat dry the skin. Do not rub the towel vigorously on skin.
Avoid soap. Instead use gram flour (besan flour) as soap dries the skin.
After washing, pat the skin dry, don't irritate it by rubbing vigorously.
Apply moisturizing creams liberally on affected areas after

i didn't answer your question but there is no cure for psoriasis. i was so excited to find something that helped me. i was 56 when i started with psoriasis. it started on my legs then back stomach and arms. my back would bleed at night. i tried everything including steroid creams. nothing helped me. i am not saying what i found in my previous statement will help you either i am just saying i was so happy when i started to see the lesions go away. i still have a small patch on my back and where it started on my one leg. but i can handle small patches. i was at my wits end with the whole body thing. i can't reduce the stress in my life right now because it is an ongoing thing that will take years to work out. but if you can reduce stress like anjali said it will help a whole lot.
