Pain on top of the Foot

Posted: Thursday, December 27, 2007 8:22:11 AM
Hi all,
I have noticed that after doing some squats, the next day my thighs keep paining whole day. Walking becomes difficult and a little crooked. What could be the cause of this? Thanks!

It really depends, have you had knee problems before? Is the pain in the legs a dull ache in the muscles or is it more in the joints? If its in the muscles, then that is normal, its called delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). Can give some more information on your history and be more specific on the problem you have. For example, what part of the legs do you feel it in? Is it both legs and does it radiate down the back of the leg / legs?

Im not sure what causes it, you should ask a medical practitioner. But when it comes to pain management i only use Actipatch. The patch do wonders. Instant relief. It comes in different sizes, very handy and affordable than pain pills that weren't helping at all.

I agree, if it is extremely bothersome I advise seeing a doctor, however make sure that you have good arch support in your shoes for your arches in your feet to keep your knees aligned properly when doing something like squats.

Do you guys know herbal products that can prevent athritis or something? I also have knee problems. Sometimes, at night, my knees are aching. I don't know what's the problem on my knees. I just want to try herbal products because I heard from my friend that it is more safe to used.

This will strike when you're not in the right form while doing the squats. Try lightening the load.
