Kinoki Foot Pads

Posted: Thursday, January 03, 2008 9:08:04 PM

Kinoki foot pads supposedly detoxify your body if you wear them on your feet while you sleep. Although the pads turn a dark brown or black, that is no proof that they are actually detoxifying your body. This product is clearly a scam. The pads contain vinegar and are likely turning that color due to a chemical reaction with sweat.

The product's website is full of testimonials from people claiming that the pads can detoxify your internal organs, cleansing your body of microscopic parasites, radiation, heavy metals, metabolic waste, chemicals, mucous, toxins and cellulite. However, there is absolutely no research to support these wild claims.

While the benefits touted by using Kinoki foot pads sound great, this product likely has no health benefits, other than a possible placebo effect if you actually believe that it is working. You are better off watching what you eat, drinking spring water, avoiding recreational drugs, refraining from alcohol abuse, not smoking, exercising regularly and not exercising heavily outdoors when the air is polluted.

If you try to live a clean lifestyle, this will go a long way to avoiding the buildup of toxins in your body. Don't waste your money on Kinoki foot pads. The only thing that it will cleanse is your wallet of cash.

Thanks for posting your comments on Kinoki pads Richard- I just saw the advertisment & was trying to find some info on this company, but not sure where? The pads seemed a bit unrealistic.. did you try something else? If you have any suggestions to other detox products,or where I could get more info on this product.. please post!
Thanks!
Tara

Tara,

Detoxing does actually work but unfortunately it's not done through your feet. The best way to rid your self of unwanted toxins and other parasites is to do a colon cleanse.

I've personally used Bowtrol and can tell you that the product does wonders. The benefits of colon cleansing are incredible. Plus you can see the results with your own eyes.

Good luck Tara.

Rich.

Kinoki is a sham! We ordered one set from them but they keep sending more and charging us for them. We attempted to call their customer serivce number and kept getting the same message, that they were busy due the overwhelming response and would call back. That was 2 days ago! Needless to say, we called our credit card co. to complain. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

Hey guys I'm new to this site, but can tell you from 15 years experience as a nutritional counselor that the body rids itself of toxins any way it can and yes even through the feet. Anywhere there are sweat glands you will have toxins being released. I haven't tried Kinoki, but if there are proper herbal blends they could draw SMALL amounts of toxins out. If anyone wants a proper detox there are several brands Renew life has a full body detox, as does Natures Secret. You don't want to use just a colon cleanse multi fiber mixture, but a multi herb blend as well that targets the liver, blood and kidney as well as the lymph system the aforementioned products target the entire body! when you detox just the colon you will reabsorb small and even large amounts of toxins back into the blood stream as the intestines are where absorption takes place. Thats why for the first few days after using a colon cleanse you might feel flu like symptoms. Plus these are affordable & reputable.
Colonics work faster and are great if you can get past the tube in the rectum? Takes 3-6 to get the true benefit.

Ha, ha, ha...kinoki's very funny...just the sound of it's name sends a red flag, plus their outrageous claims.

I sure hope that detox (whatever is available) will encourage the drug addicts and effectively rid off of their dependency...thing is there's too many drug dependents in our country. From Hollywood to the Woodlands.

They don't even know they are addicted...they just show up in the emergency for any sort of pain they feel.

How is it "Clearly" a scam? Yes the vinegar turns brown when its soaked in the sweat of your feet, but that is not PROOF in any way that they don't detoxify.

Excretion through the skin is one way that the body detoxifies itself. To say "I don't believe" is one thing but to call it CLEARLY a scam means nothing until you can provide proof that they don't. I know someone who had them tested and they did show contaminants after usage. I used them for the first time last night, with an open mind and saved the pads to send them in for my own testing. Then and only then will the answer be CLEAR.
