blood blister

Posted: Thursday, August 20, 2009 9:10:22 PM
hello,

I have a blood blister in my upper pelvic area, almost up to my stomach. It first started about a year ago and the actual "wound" never healed 100% and it came back recently, but I had to painfully drain it.

Is this serious? I mean, is it a sign of herpes? I'm a virgin, though...

It's confusing me, and I don't want to talk to my parents about it.. talk about embarrassing.

The entire visible area of the blood blister is probably about the size of your pinky finger nail or smaller. It doesn't have puss and from what I can see does not looks like herpes, but I'm just wondering if there is something I can do to keep it from coming back. Cuz damn, it hurts when I had to drain the thing. Wasn't excruciating or unbarable but not something I want to do again.

It looks kind of like a boil, like one you would get on your face. it's kind of under the skin unless it's built up with blood. I've had to drain it twice or three times in the past year or so.

Please help...

oh and it's just one... there's nothing around it or anywhere else. just that one, no rash or anything.

oh and I do have a moderate acne problem on my back, shoulders, chest and face. maybe something to do with that?

the reason i say i dont think it's herpes or genital herpes is because i have no other symptoms that point to herpes/genital herpes.

please see a doctor. blood blisters is usually caused by a blow to the skin. this sounds like something else. no it doesn't sound like herpes to me but you should really have it looked at by a gyn. don't fool with it yourself it could make matters worse. please see a doctor.
