Hey Kevin,

It's funny that you're asking this as I just got on the Internet to find out if anyone else was experiencing headaches with Colonix. It looks like I'm not the only one.

My brother however has been using Colonix without any side effects so I'm not sure what's up with it.

I found a colonix vs bowtrol review that talked about the headaches some of their users were experiencing. I guess It's normal??

I just found this page on Google and decided to chime in. I'm on day 17 of Dr. Natura Colonix and I think it's getting better. The first little while was really bad, feeling bloated, getting headaches from the fiber and being constipated and what not.

Well now that I'm on day 17 it's a little different, well allot different. I don't get the headaches anymore, I go on a daily basis and overall I feel allot healthier.

How do you feel after taking the Tea? When I take the tea it just knocks me right out. I guess they made it that way as they make you take it just before sleep.

Kevin,

My experiance with Colonix has been the same and we are NOT the only ones who have this issue. I think they need to do something serious about this mix as it is causing many to look at other products such as my self. I have started using Bowtrol about 3 months ago after reading a review some Lohan girl posted and I have to say that I have never thought there could be something better then Colonix but there is and it's Bowtrol.

Ohhh and back onto this topic, here is another forum that talks about Colonix, just read through it and you'll see how many others are having the same and worse problems.

Good luck.

I had great results from Dr. Natura products but it is too expensive for me. I did'nt get headahes but they explained that some might have it because it is getting rid of toxins.

I'm interested in trying Colonix, but it's so pricey.
Is there an alternative to this that's cheaper but works? How about buying herbs, and trying a combination?

please all take care with any product that has a bulking agent as part of the cleanse. in over 24 years as a colon hydrotherapist it is clear to me that no two people respond the same to any one product. this is most true in regard to any bulking agents, particularly psyillum. there is a wide continuem on how people process such products. it largly depends on the state of their colon at the time (so it could change), their colon musculature and their general body constitution. for some, such products are a godsend. others find they must really focus on volumes of water (extra water always being important), still others find if they take extra bowel stimulators (herbal laxatives and cleansers) they can use the products, finally some just do not process it at all. i see all these variations (&more) in my practice. some come in for a colonic and are so backed up and look puffy and are most uncomfortable (headaches and more). it is important to do some kind of flush cleansing when doing any such program. sometimes the difficulty can be mitigated by decreasing the amount of bulking agent being used. it is not always better to use more. often less works much better. all this being said, colon cleansing is extremely important for all of us no matter what our general constitution and bowel habit is. understand YOUR BODY, your needs, your willingness -- read, intuit, consult -- be conscious. the bowel is the bodies sewage system and needs regular attention. to your good health. blessings, judith

It would make sense that some people get headaches from this. The number one cause of headaches is dehydration. This is the part of a hangover that gives people bad headaches. Less hydration -> less blood volume and blood flow to the brain -> headaches. Aspirin/etc. may help bloodflow, but drinking water is the best cure. Colonix pulls water out of your bloodstream into your intestines, so you have to replenish it at a much greater rate than normal.
