What Type of Milk is the Best for Lactose Intolerant People?

Posted: Tuesday, June 15, 2010 9:22:55 PM
I have a question for everyone on here! In your opinion what is the best: soy milk, rice milk, or almond milk for a lactose intolerant person!

Well personally I prefer soy, but since some people don’t like the taste, second I would suggest almond milk. Rice milk is ok, but it has the least amount of calcium and highest amount of sugar.

I drink soy milk now too, but almond milk sounded really good too! Maybe I should try that out. Although, I like soy milk but not soy anything else. You have a suggestion for something like ice cream that isn’t soy.

Well personally, I have been able to eat dairy products for the past year, even though I am lactose intolerant, so I can’t really recommend anything to you because I don’t remember the names! Sorry!

How can you eat dairy if you’re lactose intolerant? Isn’t that an oxymoron or a paradox or something like that!

I see what you’re saying lol. Well I wasn’t able to eat anything dairy before I took Lactagen. Now I am eating dairy products and I don’t have any symptoms anymore! It rocks!

Lactagen, I have heard about them and seen an ad or two, but never really thought it was something worthwhile. You saying it works though? It would be nice to eat normal food =)

It not only works I feel like it practically cured me! You should really look into it, you will be really happy you did.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will be keeping them in mind. And who knows, I might just try Lactagen!

I hope you do! Happy hunting!

I would suggest soy milk as an alternative. Almond milk is a bit more expensive than soy.
