Baby fat

Posted: Wednesday, June 25, 2008 11:58:55 PM
Hi I would like some suggestions about how to get ride of this belly. I have 4 kids and have retained lots of weight after each one. First child went from 128 lbs to 169. Second child 169 to 184. Third child to 199. I am now after my forth child 208. I do not gain weight at any time between children but do not seem able to loose weight after having them. I eat maybe 2 meals a day and don't buy junk food. Where am I going wrong? What can I do?

The weight around the belly can be controlled with a definite correction in the diet and regular exercise. Exercise, if done daily at moderate intensity is regarded as the best way to lose belly fat. A healthy diet along with exercise helps to get rid of excess fats. It is good to replace saturated fats with polyunsaturated fats. Fresh fruits and vegetables good for health and should be included instead depending on simple carbohydrates like white bread, pasta, etc.
Exercises that one can do are standard crunches, reverse curls, combination of crunches or strength training, aerobic exercises. It is not possible to reduce fats of belly; you will loose weight as a whole. Surgery can only remove that fat or one can try liposuction. Abdominoplasty or Tummy tuck is good for people who are healthy, with stable weight and who feel that their tummy is protruding or sagging.

Find a fitness center so you can workout your fat belly. Going into the gym, you can acquire a fitness program that can target your belly and get it back in shape.

More women want to look and feel better about themselves especially after giving birth. Laser lipo-sculpture is the most popular cosmetic surgery performed today. This procedure combines both safety and effectiveness for the patient.

This is a great information for the moms out there.

Abdominal Exercise
To develop your abs you will perform specific abdominal exercises that work all the abdominal muscles. There are many exercises you can do to work the abs. There are also some great products that you can use at home, such as a large exercise ball. Using the ball for crunches requires that you stabilize your torso while balanced on the ball and you end up using more muscles than when performing standard crunches.

Christene, the most obvious thing I see that you may want to change is eating only 2 meals daily. This will not help you to lose belly fat and will in fact encourage more fat storage.
Your diet may need some tweaking as it's obvious your metabolism has changed and likely there is some definite signs of hormone imbalance. The research and information on my website may be of help to you as it's many like you who gravitate towards it. Apologies for my blatant self promotion, however there is lots of good info. there that will get moving in the right direction. Hope this helps.
