Inhaling through the mouth leads to snoring. Extremely loud and irregular snoring can be an indication that breathing pauses occur during sleep (obstructive sleep apnoea). Most patients who has sleep apnoea do not get enough oxygen and therefore are unable to sleep well.

snoring and sleep apnea can be linked but it is also possible to be a snorer without sleep apnea. snoring can sometimes caused by poor lifestyle and smoking or alcohol intake.

Yes, it may be a symptom of diabetes. It can also lead
