Do you have nail fungus? What are the symptoms and what can you do about it?

Symptoms can be one of them:
Thickened
Brittle, crumbly or ragged
Distorted in shape
Dull, with no luster or shine
A dark color, caused by debris building up under your nail

Best way to get rid of toenail fungus is to go barefoot more often. Not only will it help rid you of toenail fungus but it will help with athelete's foot.

I have nail fungus and I have just ordered ZetaClear because I have tried everything else and my big toenail is almost ready to come off. I have been using every kind of medicine to clear this up and nothing has worked. It all started showing up last summer when I went in for a pepicure - I noticed that I had a white spot on the side of my nail - my nail tec gave me some under-the-nail medicine to clear this up - I used it each and every day four & five times a day. Kept my nails clean and dry and saw a little improvement. As the year went on it only seem to get worse and I kept using the medicine as recommended and this past April my nail became completely white and started coming loose on one side. Now only God knows why it is still on, it is loose all the way across completely white and has a sharp pain in it every once in awhile. I do not wont to have it removed because it is summer and I wear sandles all the time and it would look so nasty not to have a nail on my big toe with my cute sandles. I hope that this ZetaClear works and I can grow a new nail and have pretty toe nails again. I only have it one my big toe on my right foot, should I exspect it to show up on other toenails before long? Dose it ever go away and never come back?

Everyone is talking about toenail fungus. Does Zetaclear work for fingernail yeast infections? Thanks

Joyce, I have found that Zetaclear does a pretty good job with toenail fungus but I'm not really sure if it works for fingernail yeast infections. Take a look at the nail fungus health category for all the treatment options.

Has anyone ever tried Zederna insoles (www.zederna.com) made from cedar wood? It's a good remedy against sweaty or smelly feet. And they also promise it could cure/prevent nail fungus.
