Thanks Richard, but is that just for people who suffer IBS constipation? I suffer from ALL IBS symptoms, and its horrible. THe colon Cleanser is basically a laxative, and theres not one bit of comfort within me to feel good about taking a laxative. Once I took a peppermint oil pill that I got from an IBS website, IMMEDIATELY after, I had insane diarrhea, the peppermint literally jetted straight through me and took everything with it...so I never touched that stuff again.

Joseph, my IBS is also a combination. This product has helped me a bit, but not a lot. You can see my post above yours. If I were you I would buy the least amount of bottles. Try one capsule at night with a probiotic (you can get this from the health food store cheaper than their product - it is essentially potent acidophollis) for a few days. See if that level helps the constipation; if not, try two. For me it DID solve the constipation.

I have gone back down to two capsules and this is still a bit much for my system but one isn't enough. I might try taking one at night and one in the morning to see if that is better. Since everybody's IBS is different, you'll probably have to experiment.

I'm not totally sold yet, but I bought six bottles, so will keep experimenting to see if I can figure out the magic combo for me!

If you want to just try just one bottle, I can list one on ebay for $35 including shipping (my cost). After all, at two a day, I'll be stocked for the next two years! Post if you're interested.

I wanted to reply to all of the people asking ?'s about how dos it work? This product (Bowtrol) is overall a very good colon clenase product because it does increase the frequency, however it does not suprise you and then your running for the bathroom. Other cleansing products just cause extremely loose stool. I have taken the product for approx. a month and what really happens is this: take your doseage, (everyones different play around and see what works for you.) I take my doseage once a day at bedtime as the directions suggest. The following day, even on the first day, you will feel some strange movements in your stomach/stomach growling sounds. It is difficult to explain the strange movement feeling, you may hear your tummy make sounds that you don't normally hear. ( I want to make it clear that this feeling is NOT cramping) Even with this strange stuff going on there is no running to the bathroom. You will at some point the first day experience a movement. Some one asked about the type of movement someone also mentioned alien looking creatures. Wow this is really odd to talk/write about, I dont know if I am going to be able to talk about this...here it goes .... the size may initially shock you, so be ready to have this shock in about 7-8 days into the process. Up untill those eight days you will have an increase in movements and you will get used to the grumbles in your stomach.
The alien ? was one I also had when I started. I saw all these pictures of stuff coming out of toilets, scary things draped across a pole, long and bumby string like things sitting around the seat of the toilet and I just thought these people were nuts, "playing" with their scary poo and taking pictures of it ...it was just to much for me.
After seeing the pictures I was grossed out but also thought if I did have some of that I wanted to get rid of it. Sorry to dissappoint all of the poeple looking for alien like stuff, the only thing I have to report is about the color. It has varied from a black color to greenish to yellowish.( I have only been taking it a month so it is ppossible I may have alien creatures to talk about in the future, though I hope not.)I did not have any side effects. I hope I gave you enough of the detailed info you asked for. I would reccommend this product over other ones

I have just started looking into this colon cleanse idea. I am curious about all you IBS people, have you ever looked into whether you are gluten intolerant? I always thought I had IBS until I tried to cut wheat/gluten out of my diet. Once I did that, sprinting to the bathroom while at the gym or not going for 4-5 days virtually went away. I still slip, because it is really hard to be totally gluten free, so that is why I am thinking a colon cleanse might be a good idea. Anyhow... I am still undecided, and honestly a little nervous there may be gluten hiding in the product somehow.

Hello,

I purchased the 6 month supply of Bowtrol after stumbling upon it and received it 2 days ago. I am 35 and suffer from severe IBS and have a BM once a week with the help of a good old dose of Senna, which I don't recommend by the way. It will send you sprinting for the bathroom and if your lucky you'll make it there. I have tried several things, cutting out the caffeine, more water intake, several fiber supplements, colon blows, prescription drugs and nothing has worked until now. I took my first dose 2 nights ago, I started with 3 capsules, it says recommended dose is 3-8 so I thought I would start low. I had 3 NORMAL BM's the first day and 5 today. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this product. I was at the end of my rope with the IBS, it has taken over my life and my health. I have not had headaches or felt tired at all the last 2 days which is a normal occurence for me. Anyway, I could write a book and I only am 2 days into it. All I can say is, you need to buy this product. I received it 3 days after ordering and they offer a money back guarantee, even with the 6 month supply. I figured what do you have to lose. I really am very excited about this, I can't wait to see the long term results. It says that it regulates you after time. That would be so wonderful to go to the bathroom without the help of a stool softener. Well, I have rambled long enough. Buy this product, I'm sure you will be happy with the results. Will post again down the road. Happy poopin!!

Hey everyone- Has anyone purchased almighty cleanse? If so were you able to return it? I purchased it the other day and i called to get a refund because i have a gut feeling it was a scam, but they claim i have to return to sender when it comes and my card will be credited. Ok second part of my question. I was thinking about Bowtrol, but i have IBS and wanted to know if it might work for me.

Hi Kim,

I don't know about the almighty cleanse? Good luck with that. I would like to tell you though that I too am lucky enough to have IBS. I purchased Bowtrol in December, I am just finishing up my first bottle here in a few days. I take 3 a day with plenty of water throughout the day. I won't repeat myself as my story is above. I just wanted to let you know and everyone else that it truly is a remarkable product. Everything is working like it should, it's not to much one way or the other. I would go for a week without going and I go everyday now, in good amounts. Before bowtrol I was always tired, my eyes were yellow, I would feel like vomitting from being full, my head would feel sick and hurt. I was just sick all over. I am no longer tired, my eyes have cleared up, well everything is normal. Visual: I am no longer sprinting through the grocery store trying to make it to the bathroom after taking a colon blow the night before. People tend to look at you funny....lol. With Bowtrol you get the urge and you can actually feel it moving down and then you go normally. It's just a wonderful product. I haven't had any aliens or anything but alot of black spots of stuff, so we will see down the road. Well good luck finding the right product for you. I wish you all the best. Remember Bowtrol offers a money back guarantee.

Holly, I am also on oxycontin for my neuropathy and fibromyalgia...Constipation is bad so I have taken senna, dulcolax and others and they don't work. the last thing I have been taken is miralax..it is a powder that you put into a drink. I put it into sugar free hot co-co...it was working but then I had to keep taking more and more..I am seriously thinking about Bowtrol. Does anyone know if it is habit forming and if you can take it while on pain meds? thank you all for all the good information on here. Betty

i have a question... if Bowtrol works why do you have to keep taking it? it says it will help you become regular but is this only as long as you take the pill?
