How many of you have used Bowtrol and has it really worked for you?

I have been using Bowtrol for 10 days. I started with recommended 3 pills for first week and increased it to 4 second week. It is sort of working, but not so well as of now. I think I have not hit the magic number of pills yet. I am gradually increasing my dose and seeing if I get the desired results. I have also used Colonix in past which worked fantastically for me, but wanted to give a try to Bowtrol after reading lot of reviews saying it is better than Colonix. Will keep you posted.

I'm amazed to hear how many Bowtrol pills people are taking. I took my first dose last night- 3 pills- and today I'm on my 10th BM! I've had cramps and a sense of urgency all day-very uncomfortable and awkward at work. The BM have varied in colour tremendously but have all been unformed and too soft. I've also passed what looks like dried up leaves-dark green. So beware, unless you were already very constipated or have a very strong constitution start on a low dose and on a day at home! I'm hoping that things will settle down. Does anyone know how long it is best to take these for?

Just wondering has anyone actually lost any weight on this, and if so how much. Do you really notice a "flater stomach"??

Has anyone ever gotten frequent heartburn from using Colonix?
Posted: Thursday, August 21, 2008 9:55:46 PM
I just got back from my doctors today, and he says i have a buildup large amount of buildup in my colon and intestines. He said to try metimucil. The only thing is i have about 3 to 4 bowel movements already. I want to do a cleanse but am worried that it might not be safe as i already have that many movements...
Anyone have any thoughts or had a similar experience?
