SCAM ALERT: Colopure and Central Coast Nutraceuticals
Posted: Saturday, January 24, 2009 11:12:02 AM I ordered a "free trial" of colopure from their distributor Central Coast Nutraceuticals ...In addition to the "free trial" They sent me and CHARGE ME for 2 products I didn't order, for a total of $44.85!! and now I have to go through all sorts of time-consuming loops to just return the stuff I didn't order...plus I have to pay for the shipping (of the stuff I didn't order) plus I have to pay for a "restocking fee" (of the stuff I didn't order). Complete scam, do not EVER deal with that company. I am going to file a complaint with a consumer advocate agency.

This company is full of scam artist foreigners. The web site that caught my attention promised a "no strings attached" free trial. Hah! Maybe there is supposed to be a free trial period, but here it is over a month later and I am still waiting for something to show up in the mail. Meanwhile, they charged my Master Card the amount of $87.13, plus some foreign transaction fees, plus shipping. I got disgusted trying to talk to them, and decided to report them to Master Card to do a chargeback. MC issued a full refund of shipping, foreign charges, and the $87.13. Boy, did that get their attention. I went from not being able to get ahold of anyone, or being put on hold forever, to them calling me every day. I have nothing to say to them, now that Master Card has gone to bat for me, so I don't even answer when I see their number. Don't touch this company with a 10-foot pole. Only buy American! Yeah!
