Rutin Description

Also known as Rutoside, quercetin-3-rutinoside and sophorin. It is a citrus flavonoid glycoside found in Buckwheat and also in the fruiyt of the Fava D'Anta tree (found in brazil) and a couple of other sources. Its name come from the name of a plant called Ruta graveolens that also contains rutin. This medication is the glycoside between the flavonol quercetin and the disaccharide rutinose.

strengthens the capillaries,as a cause of this it can lower the symptoms of haemophilia. Also it may assist in preventing a common unpleasant-looking venous edema of the legs. As ferulic acid, Rutin can lower the cytotoxicity of oxidized LDL cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease.
