For mild to moderate depression. May take 4 to 6 weeks to show effects, like most prescription antidepressants. Dose is 100mg three times a day. Do not take with prescription antidepressants or anxiety medications.

St. John's wort most noteworthy claim is as an anti-viral. It is used for control of viral infections, and for reduction of tumor growths. It has shown to cause photo-sensitivity, so those with light complexion must be careful in sunlight.
