It is used to treat allergic reactions, breathing problems, skin problems like psoriasis and hives, cancers, blood problems, eye problems, digestion problems and hormone replacement.

Corticosteroid Side Effects
May cause nausea, dizziness, indigestion, greater appetite, weight gain, weakness or sleep problems. These effects should go away as your body adjusts to the medication. If they do not, notify your doctor. Tell your doctor if you have: bloody vomit, black/tarry stools, puffy face, swelling ankles or feet, weight gain, sore throat or fever, weak muscles, breathing problems, mood swings, or vision problems. If you have an allergic reaction to this drug, get medical help right away. Symptoms of an allergic reaction are: rash, itchiness, swollen, dizzy, and trouble breathing.
