Adjustment Disorder Health Center

Adjustment disorder is a stress related mental illness which occurs when a person is unable to adjust to the changes in their life. Those changes could be anything from work problems, getting married, illness or death in the family and many more. Most people usually adjust to such changes within a few months, but others continue to feel depressed, self-destructive and even suicidal. Those suffering from adjustment disorder have trouble going about daily routines such as work or seeing friends. Adjustment disorder can be treated and the treatment will help regain the person their emotional footing, and prevent the disorder from becoming a more serious problem.
