Adult Still's Disease Health Center

Adult Still's disease is a rare inflammatory condition which may cause daily spiking fevers, achy or swollen joints and a salmon-pink rash appearing on the body. Still's disease may lead to chronic arthritis and other complications as it progresses. Named after an English doctor George Still, the disease is now known as systemic onset juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA). Adult Still's disease is a term used to describe adults who have a condition similar to systemic onset JRA. While there is no cure for adult Still's disease, there are treatments that may offer symptom relief and help prevent complications.
