Atypical Hyperplasia Of The Breast Health Center

Atypical hyperplasia is a precancerous condition which affects the cells in breasts. It describes an accumulation of abnormal cells in a breast duct, or lobule. While atypical hyperplasia is not cancer, it can be a forerunner to the development of breast cancer. Those diagnosed with atypical hyperplasia have an increased risk of developing breast cancer in the future.
