Bladder Stones Health Center

Bladder stones a re small masses of minerals which form in the bladder. Bladder stones develop when urine in the bladder becomes concentrated, causing minerals in the urine to crystallize. This concentrated, stagnant urine is often the result of an enlarged prostate, nerve damage, or recurring urinary tract infections. As they do not always cause symptoms, bladder stones are sometimes discovered during tests for other problems.
