Bone cancer is an uncommon cancer which begins in a bone. Bone cancer can begin in just about any bone in the body, though it most commonly affects the long bones which make up arms and legs. There are several types of bone cancer in existence. Some types occur primarily in children while others affect mostly adults. The term "Bone Cancer" does not include cancers which begin elsewhere in the body and spread to the bones.
