Cardiomyopathy Health Center

Cardiomyopathy is a disease which weakens and enlarges the heart muscle. There are three main types of cardiomyopathy; dilated, hypertrophic, and restrictive, and they all affect the heart muscle. Cardiomyopathy makes it harder for the heart to pump blood and deliver it to the rest of the body. Cardiomyopathy has many causes, including coronary artery disease, and vavular heart disease, and it can lead to heart failure.
