Chickenpox Health Center

Chickenpox (varicella) was in the past considered to be a normal part of childhood, and before the routine chickenpox vaccination, virtually everyone had been infected by adulthood, sometimes with serious complications. Though thought of as a mild disease, which in most cases it is, it can become severe in some people, and is highly contagious among people who are not immune to it.
