Chronic Kidney Failure Health Center

Chronic kidney failure describes the gradual loss of kidney function. The kidneys filter wastes and excess fluids from the blood which are then excreted in the urine. When chronic kidney failure damages the kidneys, dangerous levels of fluid and waste can accumulate in the body. In early stages of chronic kidney failure, there are few symptoms, and the condition may not become apparent until the kidneys are significantly impaired.
