Churg-Strauss Syndrome Health Center

Churg-Strauss syndrome, known also as allergic granulomatosis and allergic angiitis, is a disorder characterized by blood vessel inflammation which can restrict blood flow to vital organs and tissue, in some cases permanently damaging them. Asthma is the most common symptom of Churg-Strauss syndrome but it can cause a variety of problems, ranging from hay fever, rash and gastrointestinal bleeding, to severe pain and numbness in the hands and feet. This wide range of symptoms, and their similarity to symptoms of other disorders, makes Churg-Strauss syndrome difficult to diagnose.
