Congenital Heart Defects In Children Health Center

If the child has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, it means that he or she was born with a problem in the heart's structure. Some congenital heart defects are simple and do not need treatment, for instance, a small hole between the heart chambers which closes on it's own. Other congenital heart defects in children are more complex and might require several surgeries performed over a period of several years.
