Disorganized Schizophrenia Health Center

Disorganized schizophrenia is one of a number of types of schizophrenia, which is a chronic mental illness in which reality is interpreted abnormally (psychosis). Disorganized schizophrenia is marked by illogical and incoherent thoughts and behaviors. Disorganized schizophrenia is generally considered among the more severe types of schizophrenia because a person with this condition may be unable to carry out routine daily activities like bathing and meal preparation. People often are not able to understand what a person with disorganized schizophrenia is saying. Because of this, people with disorganized schizophrenia suffer frustration and agitation which can cause them to lash out. Disorganized schizophrenia is also known as hebephrenic schizophrenia.
