Flu & Cold - Nasal Spray Vaccine

Traditionally, the flu vaccine has come in the form of a shot, but since most people don't like getting needles, there is now a nasal spray flu vaccine available. In one study among children, the nasal spray flu vaccine reduced the chance of influenza illness by 92%. Just like with flu shots, the best time to get the vaccine is in October or November. Side effects include runny nose, wheezing, vomiting, aches, fever, sore throat and cough.
