ACE Inhibitors and ARBs

There are prescription drugs available on the market which have been proven to slow the progress of chronic kidney disease.  These drugs are known as ACE inhibitors/ARBs. They are recommended for diabetics with hypertension, although some kidney damage may also result. It is best to discuss this with your doctor.
