Pregnancy week by week Menu
Week 11
You:
Leg cramps and back aches may start to crop up around week 11. When you wake up, flex your feet up towards you, and this will help alleviate leg cramps. Heat pads and massages can also help. For back aches, try to stand straight, lift bending only the knees, use a chair with good back support or add a pillow, and wear shoes that are good for your back.
You will also likely start to notice more vaginal discharge. This is normal as long as it is clear or white. If there is an odor, itchiness or coloration, then you should talk to your doctor.
Your baby:
Almost all structures and organs have formed. Baby's fingers and toes are no longer webbed. Hair and nails start to grow. The genitals start to take shape according to gender. Muscles in the intestines begin to contract, preparing for the eventual digestion of food.
