Week 13

You:

In week 13 you should be starting to feel better and the father may want to get more involved in the pregnancy. Your abdomen may be expanding to the point where you are starting to get stretch marks. Some people believe rubbing coacoa butter daily into the skin can help prevent stretch marks, but this is not scientifically proven. Now is the time when you may want to find a pediatrician.

Your baby:

Baby starts to practice breathing movements. The neck is getting longer. Manual dexterity is improving and baby may play with his or her hands. Baby is now almost 3 inches long and weighs about 23 grams.
