Week 19

You:

Around week 19 is a good time to enroll in a childbirth class. Your skin may be getting dry, flaky and itchy due to hormonal changes. Your skin will go back to normal after the pregnancy, but in the meantime, you may want to use a moisturizing lotion.  Also, maintaining a good diet and drinking plenty of water will help.

Your baby:

Baby now has a sleep pattern that is similar to that of a newborn. Scalp hair is growing. The uterus starts to form in female babies. Baby is swallowing amniotic fluid and the kidneys are producing urine. Baby is now about 6 inches long and weighs about 240 grams
