Week 20
You:
You have now reached week 20 and you are half way into your pregnancy. Your belly button may start to become an "outy" around this time. Around this time it may start to get more difficult for you to breath, since your lungs have less space to expand when you inhale. Once the baby drops, which happens about 5 weeks before giving birth if this is your first child, then the pressure on your lungs will decrease.
Your baby:
The rapid growth stage is coming to a close. Muscles are developing in baby's arms and legs, making it easier for you to feel movements. Baby is receiving some of your immunity cells to protect him or her from viruses you've had for up to six months after birth. The sensory nerve cells are developing in the brain. Baby can now hear sounds coming from outside of the womb
