Week 23
You:
Around week 23 you may actually be able to see the baby move by observing your tummy. You should be feeling the kicks and punches fairly regularly. You may have more pronounced mood swings now as your hormone levels increase leading up to the birth. At your doctors appointment, your doctor will likely check for the position of the baby and measure your fundal height to measure the growth of your baby. If you are a little bigger or smaller than average it's nothing to worry about.
Your baby:
Body proportions are now similar to that of a newborn, but with less fat. The pancreas, which is important for hormone production, is developing rapidly. Baby's eyes are now fully formed.
