You:
Your doctor may want to start seeing you more frequently around week 25. At each visit, he or she will check fetal heart rate, fetal movement, fundal height and your overall health. Now is a good time to start thinking about sleeping arrangements, preparing the nursery if you will use one, and choosing names.
Your baby:
The parts of the spine which will protect the all important spinal cord begin to form. Baby's blood vessels form. Baby's nostrils start to open. Manual dexterity and the swallowing reflex continue to improve. Baby is now about 14 inches long and weighs almost 1.5 pounds
