Week 26

You:

Your baby is getting so big around week 26 that you may feel pressure from the movements, which may cause discomfort. If you move around for a while, then the baby may change his or her position, relieving the pressure. On the bright sideIt is probably becoming increasingly difficult to sleep comfortably. If you haven't bought one already, a body pillow can really help.

Your baby:

Baby weighs around 2 pounds now. The spine is growing in strength to support a larger body. Air sacs, vital to breathing air, are forming in the lungs. Baby's are now open, they are blinking and the retinas are starting to form.
