Week 38

You:

If this is your first pregnancy, your baby will probably drop some time around week 38. This means the baby may hit nerves in your pelvis, possibly causing a strange "buzzing" sensation in your legs and vagina. You may be getting Braxton Hicks contractions, but you should be able to tell the difference between them and real labor.

Your baby:

The intestines are accumulating a lot of meconium, preparing for the first bowel movement. Baby may have grown a full head of hair by now. Baby weighs about 7 pounds and is about 20 inches long
