Yeah those people who said that the product didn't work at all are idiots, besides why would you even expect that product to help if you had to many toxins in your body. Why would you even try this product if you had no toxins... Idiots!

But this product did work superb for me!

I didn't have to many toxins in my body just the right moderate amount of toxins in my body, so it cleared up all those horrible symptoms within weeks!

Before I used this product I had HIV and I had been diagnosed w/ brain cancer...

Now THANKS to Kinoki i've been miraculously cured of both diseases!

I took my mom to a foot doctor for her Neuropathy pain in her feet. They said if we put her feet in this magic bath of water (Kionki) water she would be healed from her pain which had been going on for at least 10 years. It would cost 180.00 for 6 treatments and then more treatments might be required after that. They said after each treatment the water would turn blacker, the toxins would be removed from her body and the pain would get better. She was convinced this might help so I paid the money, (not cover by insurance- of course). Each treatment they added magic Kinoki powders to the water because of the extent of her pain and disability, and "magically" the water got darker with every treatment, but her pain continued at the same level. It was interesting to me the commercials said the pads eventually got whiter as the toxins left the body instead of getting darker, directy opposed to these Kioki specialists we spent all this money to. This is a stupid con concentrating at people who are in need and should not be on the market at all. Please don't waste you money on colon cleansing- could lead to real damage or any other type of magic solutions. Eat right, exercise and refrain from obvious thing that could harm you. False advertising = unhappy viewers.
Unhappy viewers = less frequent viewers.
Less frequent viewers = lower ratings
Lower ratings = LOWER RATINGS!!
(and less money they can ask for advertisements, and less money to spend on developing new shows)

The Kinoki company are scam artists in my book, and the Food Network is just as guilty.

Yes, it really made a difference in the way I felt in the mornings when I used them. I have no idea how they work--it does sound crazy to me!! But all I know is that I feel like a different person nearly always when I use them. It is doing something--one morning I had two small pin size drops of blood along with the toxins. I heard of a friend having these little blood spots the very first time she used them. Neither of us have had them since. To those who can't reach Kinoki by phone (to stop the credit card charges each month) - you need to call your credit card company to have those automatic charges stopped. They know these companies make it difficult to be reached and might remove up to 3 months of charges off your credit card. Don't let these scam artists rip you off any longer! It just strings you along, making you think they'll work with you 'once you reach someone', only to find that that 'someone' will try to sell you something else. Simple solution, call your card company tell them to deny further charges, if problems, report lost card and get a new number and not to transfer any charges to your new number. (I know, it is a hassle to go through all your accounts to change everything, but sucks to be you, if you don't, if you do, sucks to be them). Also, Walmart advertises the pre-paid credit cards or you might get them at a bank or what not. Simple, use that number, and it will be a cold day in hell if they get any more money, especially if there isn't any on it. Put enough to cover the purchase for these infomercials and then destroy it. So, the nightmare of not being able to stop their charging will be stopped. That silly computer guy(Can't recall name) that sells cd's to train people on how to use a computer is a fine example. Their site charges all kind of outlandish charges for what? No clue. But I changed my number. So been there done that. How is that for detoxing.
Oh, and by the way, I love my Magic bullet, makes great soups and pancake mix with no fuss (because I hate doing dishes)and a lot of other things, not into alcolhol beverages though, but it does make great drinks from what my guests say.

OK, I can't stand the ignorance any longer. Here's the deal:

If you use a detox in your digestive system, you're doing something completely different from detoxing your circulatory system and bloodstream. If you only detox your bloodstream, you're not doing enough. If you detox your digestive system, you're only about 3/4 done. Both are best, and you CAN prove to yourself that there's a physical effect from blood detox. Here's the proof:

Get a fresh Garlic clove from the grocery store. Pick the biggest piece, slice a thin fresh slab from the middle of one of the cloves, stick it to the bottom of your foot, and put a piece of duct tape over it. Don't walk on it, just sit back and watch TV for a while and see what happens. In about 20 minutes, you'll taste it in your mouth. You figure the rest out.

It seems pretty obvious that this Kinoki company is a shady organization, so if you are still curious, wander down to Walgreens and buy a box for $10. If you think it's helping you, go buy another. Okay this is the most natural and non-damaging detox you can do. For one week eat daily 3 (Maximum) servings of fruit, and eat 3 (can eat more servings than that) servings of vegetables. During the one week detox do not eat carbohydrates or proteins as they are impure and will stunt the effects. Drinking purified water is highly recommended during this to help cleanse even more. Drinking coffee is not recommended, but drinking non caffinated tea is fine. For those that may be worrying that a whole week with no carbs or protein is unhealthy, the human body has a storage of protein that lasts for one month. One week won't hurt, and will remove TONS of toxins. It is way cheaper than buying pills (the gelatin capsules actually put toxins in!!) and is the most healthiest way because its natural and yields tons of vitamins.

For those that have said it cured them of cancer or stds, it was not the kinoki foot pads. While you used them your subconscious accepted that those pads would remove all impurities from your body, and with the way the brain and thought oriented vibrations work, it made it happen. Which is kind of like a water placebo. If you took a pill that in reality had water in it and you didn't know, but you were told it would cure X disease, the more you took it the more your subconscious would accept it and your brain would be commanded to be cured of that disease, and would do so on its own. Well, the proverbial excrement hit the fan as my lovely lady voiced her displeasure that she sat through "my movie" and felt I should now sit through hers... Looking back, bringing up her loss on the Jeopardy bet probably was a stragic error. Doing so with a grin was an outright mistake.

Sometime during the night, she decided to pull a fast one and retrieved her mamma's unused Christmas gift and took out a pad. Being the observant and creative type, she took notice that I was sleeping commando-- and decided she'd put the pad somewhere interesting. Hours later, in the early hours of the morning, nature took it's course and parts of me began to wake up sometime before my brain and eyes...

It was the discomfort that woke me that morning-- not the alarm clock sitting bedside. I pusked back the covers to discover what looked like a giant sanitary napkin stuck between my legs. Half of it had a firm grasp on my squishy parts, but the remainder of the adhesive-backed pad stuck resolutely to the sensitive skin stretched tight by my growing-- ahem-- tension. Removing that pad with a swift, "let's-get-it-over-with" tug produced blinding pain, a yelp and startled the hell out of my partner who awoke just in time to see the results produced by the Kinoki.

While I can not say that it actually drew any toxins out of my crotch, the pad certainly had removed folicles to which I had been previously attached. When the laughter stopped, my girlfriend took sympathy (or should I say empathy) on me and retrieved from the bathroom some kind of gel she uses when she shaves. The gel was cool and soothing with a slight afterburn. Refreshing, eh? She assured me that this was "the thing to do".

So, in closing-- I just want to thank Kinoki. While obviously not the intended purpose for their product, the pads left me with a smooth feel and look that my lady simply can't get enough of. I literally haven't slept in three days.

She's in the next room sleeping soundly with a smile on her face as I write this. After I click "Submit" I'll be grabbing a fresh Kioki pad and heading off to the bedroom. I think it's time for that quirky, little "landing strip" of hers to finally disappear.

My feet and ankles (0ver the last yr.) have been swollen. The doctor gave me fluid pills which did not help. After "one" use of the Kinoki foot pads the swelling went away completely. It was AMAZING - I intend to take them to my doctor the next time I go so that he can see the difference and I intend to use the Kinoki foot pads for the rest of my life. The sweat from your feet dampens the patch which makes it apear brown

I don't know about the brand sold on TV but the ones I bought worked wonderfully. If you don't trust the ad or that company then I would recommend you buy them locally. What a joke! I ordered these for my husband and I. Now, I thought for sure that when my husband removed his patch that it would have been filthy black. The right foot had been really ugly, for the last four or five years, and the left wasn't very pretty either. But both were looking almost normal!

Surprisingly, perhaps, that wasn't why I decided to try the Kinoki. I have serious problems with peripheral neuropathy -- very serious pain, which I take many, many powerful drugs for every day. I'm hoping the Kinoki will give me some relief (so I can quit the opiates). But whether it does or not, I think I'll try it for a while (they say once a week after the pads come out clean). When ever I wear white socks with shoes for the whole day I always find the bottom of my socks becoming brown from the soles on my feet. After the first night of the foot pads, the foot pads were filled with a bunch of dark smelly crap. I do have to admit though, I did feel a bit better, not super human better like I can take over the world, but just lighter for some reason. No weight loss occurred I don't think (as you always weigh less in the morning). And after 1 week of use, I did notice that the color of the pads after you have used them does get lighter and lighter as the days go by.
I have heard some people say that there is something inside the pads that when moisture gets into it, that causes it to change color. Now if that were so, then wouldn't it mean that every single night the pads would be the same darkness in color after use? Well, mine seem to get lighter and lighter, I would like them to explain that. I'm not saying that it did or did not take any toxins out of my body as I have no way of testing that. But another thing that I have noticed is that now my white socks aren't as dirty after a whole day of walking. I'll continue to use it to see how far it goes. Does it work? I am not quite sure like I said, but its helping out with my socks issue so it gets two thumbs up for that.

Another amusing fact is that everyone assumes that because they've got an Asian name, they must represent the Orient, all alternative medicine, and must be an ancient art handed down from wizened Chinese man to wizened Chinese man in some forgotten mountain temple. Bull@#$%. Also, one of the best definitions of "alternative medicine" is "anything that cannot be proved to work in any way, but manages to keep some blind believers thanks to the placebo effect." There's your alternative medicine for ya.

Seriously. Go buy some tampons, stick 'em on your feet before you sleep, and wake up and look. If the toxins ARE coming out of your feet, they ought to appear there too. If they're not, well, how will "mysterious secret chemicals" in the pads do anything? And don't spew out crap about the skin barrier being broken down. If that was the case, your feet would be covered in blood and you wouldn't be able to walk the next day.

One last point. Put an empty glass on the counter. Now put a carton of milk on a table ten feet away. Even open the milk, if you want. The milk is your colon, the glass is your foot. Now, if you can (without touching anything) magically move the milk from its NATURAL place, in the carton, into your glass, then maybe you can also magically move toxins in your body from their NATURAL storage (the colon) to your feet, oh so far away. If this Harry Potter-esque feat is beyond you, then what chance does a sand-filled maxi-pad have?

I have never tried the Kinoki Foot Pads, but I wanted to address some comments that said that the human body does not expel wast through the skin - only through urine.

That's not quite right. The human body is covered with sweat glands. Sweat is a mixture of water, salt, and small amounts of metabolic waste products. Think about it, why do people smell bad when they sweat? It's because they are covered with and an excreted liquid that is full of waste or toxins.

That being said, I don't think this product would be ranked very highly on my list of things on which to spend the money that God has blessed me to have. I suggest reading the post left by Mindy the Ph.D.

One week later and I am now sporting a full head of thick, luxurious, soft silky hair!!! I have no idea why kinoki is staying tightlipped about this effect of their product. I have only to assume that there is some obscure legal reason for it with regard to making crazy claims of footpads regrowing hair... I have no idea what the laws are regarding these matters and frankly I could care less now that I have my youthful hair back! Im guessing part of it is from the prescribed medications I take daily where as he takes none. Just a theory? He wasn't interested in trying them again right away but I am going to do them again tonight. Even if me feeling more energized is all psycological and in my head I'll take it! Plus getting that great nights sleep is priceless! I'll try them again tonight and report on my findings tomorrow. I truely think they are worth a try. Most people need to do a whole body cleanse kit for 2-3 months to clear out toxins, and even parasites (and do it once/year after that). I first tried them because I saw an article saying they were a scam. I applied the pads to both feet and they came out very dark brown the first two days. The next 3-4 days the color on the pads got increasingly lighter until about the 7th or 8th day the pads were almost as clean as when I put them on and I was feeling great. Very little in the way of constipation and sleeping like a baby all night. This is from someone that has two types of cancer and a permanent disability for 7 seven back surgeries. (I am not saying this cures cancer or eliminated all my pain in my back) Just saying I now felt like getting up in the morning and doing things.
I stopped using the pads for about 5 days and when I started again the pads were dark again, but not as dark as when I first started. It took 4-5 days before the dark colored junk was gone again. I now use them about 3-4 times a week and am feeling so much better. As for the lady that thinks this is a scam, well I think it is terrible that you would say that because it didn't work for YOU. If I had a headache and took Excedrin, it would not work for me, but Tylenol would, or Aleve or anything else for that matter. I am not going to say they don't work, but they don't for ME. Almost everyone I know has had little or no luck with some medication and success with another that is almost identical. These people don't go out and say Excedrin or Tylenol or Bayer etc is a scam because it didn't work for them. Come on lady if it didn't work for YOU, that's too bad, but your article may stop someone from using the product that will help them as it has me and many others according the counts listed above.(246 said it DID help them and 293 said it DIDN'T help them) I rest my case. I used another brand. Used for 8 days. My toes and part of my foot - Left worse than right - have had numbness for about 3 years. Dr.'s chedked for diabetes and also my heart. Gave up on trying but it worried me as it gets worse over time. Now, after 8 days, it is getting better. I'd say easily 20% better. And the callouses that were like hard plastic pads on my heel and front of foot, are softening. Dead skin flaking away. I think I feel better. More 'alert'? But that could be subjective or whatever.

Perhaps people who are not getting results my be using them wrong. The pads I use had conflicting instructions. Like Kinoki & Avon (neither mine) they show a picture of putting them lengthwise - going long from near heal toward toes. Of course this is not going to be very effective. This is reflexology. And that puts the pad, maybe 50% over the reflexology points intended to be stimulated. The points are just under the front pads by the toes. And the pad should be put across the foor rather than up and down. That way it covers the right area. More or less completely.

That is what I did and I really did get results. I was just hoping to feel better from less toxins. Anyone living in the US is full of toxins. Unless you can afford biodynamic foods and the like. Meats, veggies, fruits - all of it is full of toxins. Not to mention the air. Anyone eating fast foods - well, if you do you won't listen, and if you don't, you don't need to be told.

This product may not be for everyone BUT. I am 62 and retired after 37 years with the Food and Drug Administration, So I KNOW THAT KINOKI HAS SCAM written all over it. But, after 4 doctors shrugging their shoulders, I was desperate. My feet were swollen, sore and had a rash all over them. If someone would delete the BS articles from this thread it would be easier to truly evaluate the product. But then mine would probably be deleted “obviously from someone who has a financial interest in the product”. But you would be wrong. I just don’t want to go back to the store in a couple of years to find that they have been taken off the market. I noticed a couple of other post had similar problems to mine and it worked for them too. This put’s me at odds with myself, because I know there are scams everywhere. And for many of you this will do nothing. But I haven’t heard anyone say that it blistered their feet or caused harm to them. (Except those who put it on their scrotum and that’s just plain risky behavior).

I guess why alot of people think its a scam is because YOU cant wrap ur head around eastern medication. Unlike western medicine in which chemical reactions explains how the body works.. and thus how it should be treated. Eastern medication have a lot more 'terms' that you cant understand simply because your English Language does not have those terms. "Chi" is understood as Energy... (and though it is not exactly energy..) it is an important factor in chinese medication...
It is quite similar to how it is quite hard to understand the concept of Chakras by the indians using english language.. our language is our culture... our language is our world... if you cant be open minded enough.. then you'll miss out alot from other peoples' worlds.. and part of it, would be their different means of medication

I didn't really have any expectations. Being a professional in the alternative med field I tend to lean more toward healthy diet and exercise along with a seasonal detoxing kit from my health food store in Kansas City and/or fasting. However, I do believe in the power of herbs. So I figured, well with all the talk about these foot pads, I might as well try them. I did try one last night on the sole of my left foot. I woke up this morning and the pad was dark. I know that wood vinegar turns color when wet. It's Sunday, so I got to sleep in, that could explain me waking up feeling rejuvenated. The vinegar in the pad could explain the tingling sensation and the pungent smell (as I really do not have stinky feet, usually). And the adhesive, of course, explains the sticky residue left behind after I removed it. I don't care what color it turns. Tea bags turn color when steeped as well. I can't say it does or does not work for others. But it definately didn't hurt me in any way. I don't believe it sucked anything out, but that's not to say that my body didn't absorb the beneficial herbal properties of the pad ingredients. I'm going to use the rest of the box just to see if I feel anything else, but no miracles after one use... although, I have no major health complaints. Honestly, detox tea would give you the same benefits, but try the pads for yourself before you decide one way or another.

All I know is I feel better. It's actually a bit embarassing. And again, I think it has more to do with the lavendar which IS proven to reduce pain and aid in sleep with cancer patients.

I would also like to point out that most of the negative reviews- not all- are from people who haven't actually tried the product.

I was at BigLots with my mother and i am always up to trying things like that so i asked her about them, she said they worked so i gave them a try. And i figured that even if they don`t its only a couple bucks, why not?
I am not positive that they did "remove toxins" or if thats what made me feel better, but in the mornings i would wake up and feel well rested and slightly ambitious for the usual day.
I am on my forth day with the Kinoki foot pads and so far so good.
And i think Joel may be right, they do become hard and dry when you wear them for a longer amount of time then recommended, this may be implying that they simply cannot reduce anymore toxins in your body. Making it not as much of a scam then you may or may not think.

I am not exactly sure how the Kinoki patch helps me, but it does. I have early restless leg syndrome. Sometimes when I am trying to go to sleep my left leg will just feel like it is "dead" or "crawling". I need to keep moving it. This drives my husband crazy. When I can't take it any more, I will get up and put on a patch. A box of ten will last me a year. I don't believe that the patches are actually detoxing my body but they do give my leg relief somehow so that I can sleep. I just went to CVS to purchase some more and they no longer carry them. I have never felt more energy or any of the other benefits that they claim. I do have to find some more to have on hand. I tried these pads and there is definately something to them. It's like anything else, some stuff works, some is crap. I also had great luck with Colonix colon cleanse. I tried other cleanses before but this one worked great. Got 35 years of stuff I didnt know I had in me. Looked like rotten seaweed. Point being, think outside the box about your health. I am a believer in detoxing. You feel alot better. The foot pads are an easy way to better health. Give them a chance and dont give up too quickly. I've migraine since 15, I'm now 36. I used to have migraine 5 times a week til my mid 20s, but with changed of diet, my migraine reduced to 3 times a week.
