Anonymous - Didn't WorkI fell for this scam too! It started with AcaiPure which is the same scam. They recommend that you use both products for better results and since they were just a dollar each to try out, I figured I'd go for it. Nothing to los, right? WRONG! What they don't tell you is that it is just a 10 day trial! Now how in the heck are you supposed to know if these products work in only 10 days?! Supposedly ColoPure doesn't even begin to work until after 3 months of use. The product(s) are sent to you within 4 days of placing your order (if you're lucky). Your 10day trial starts after those 4 days. The catch is that you must decide within the 10 days whether or not you like the product(s). If you don't, you better call to return them or else your account will be billed for $59.95 EACH. That was yesterday. Today my account says $60.55 EACH. Times are tough and I really could have put this $121.10 towards something better. I've learned my lesson and canceled any future orders. Please don't make the same mistake I did!

This is a total rip off!!! It's DEFINITELY NOT a free trial. DON'T DO IT UNLESS YOU EXPECT TO SPEND SOME MONEY!!!Anonymous - Didn't Work
This product it a total SCAM! Do not buy. I filled out the part with my name and phone number, but before I could even start filling out my credit card information I thought that this sounded too good to be true, not to mention the website mimics exactly what the teeth whitening scam page looked like. I didn't even submit all of my information and they still call me. I have had rude people (not all from the same company) calling me daily, even two to three times a day, and though I have asked them to stop calling, they still keep selling my number (remember, I NEVER submitted the info, just typed it in). Please don't even think about going on their webpage.Anonymous - Didn't Work

The pills list the ingredients, but do not list how much of each ingredient is in them. The trial period (five days) is not enough time to know weignt difference. It gave me headaches second day of taking. If you don't send it back (they have to have it in there hand) before the tenth day you will be billed. Not worth it, You might as well go to vitamin or health food store probably cheaper too.Anonymous - Didn't Work
I won't go into the Free trial offer. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!! I paid the s/h; thinking that was it until I tried the product. When I saw that they charged me $61.75 before I received the product....well, I was very unhappy. Called the company, their "workers" were very rude. Was waiting to see if they would credit me my money. Finally found this sight. Am still in shock as to how companies like this can steal peoples hard earned money. Was afraid that they would charge my account again. I've lost my trust in people almost altogether. Canceled my "membership" and also called my bank to cancel my credit card and to get a new card and number. I hope that you read all of these statements. These people are scam artists. We have to stop this. It's not a wonder that we as Americans go abroad to get medications and such. It's companies like this. BTW. I would really hate to be these people when it comes out that this product causes colon cancer and has not been fully tested. So, I'm still waiting for the outcome: whether my money is refunded. The tracking number they gave me for the usps still has my so-called-product as "being refused at the Post office"; with no other destination as of yet. Have reported this to my bank; having disputed this problem. I will check back with this sight, now that I've found it. Something has to be done!!!!Anonymous - Didn't Work
This COMPANY IS A SCAM. BUYER BEWARE!!!! They have got quite a scam going. False advertising is illegal. They are misleading "1,000's" of people with their so called "Free Trial Offer". Consumers are TRICKED into thinking that they are getting a "free sample" when all the while ColoPure is stealing from them by charging their credit card, with no way to get their money back.
I called them several times and got nowhere. I even demanded to talk to a manager Carl, who didn't "have time for this". He also said if i tried to stop payment on my credit card i would go into collections. Phone representatives with well rehearsed regurgitated verbage are trained to take care of any caller by directing you to their website if "all you want to do is complain". Then when you e-mail them, you are directed to call customer care. I talked to Danielle on the phone and she was the same person who also answered my e-mail. A vicious circle!!!
I promised to file a complaint with the BBB and the CDC and blog as much as humanly possible about the SCAM. The reason i am contacting the CDC is they admitted that they recycling the drugs. That shocked me!! The product could be contaminated.
I never tried the product because their criminal business practices sent up RED FLAGS!!
Lets band together!!

This is one of the BIGGEST SCAMS I have ever experienced in my life (I'm 44). I tried this product -- which did NOTHING -- and was subsequently charged $59.95 for the "balance" of the product cost. This was one tiny (one month) supply that is probably a sugar pill. When I disputed it with my credit card co. (the 59.95 balance charge info is well hidden in the small type), they instructed me to return the items (I also tried Acai Pure -- also a big waste of $$) for full refunds. Did just as instructed, and returned both items in separate packages. Company now claims my c.c. dispute negates any refund (you guessed it, more small type). So, save yourself $65+ per product and DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHADY BUSINESS with the RUDEST "customer service" I have ever experienced. Truly unbelievable. What a complete scam.Anonymous - Didn't Work
This is a scam. The FREE trial ropes you into a commitment to other things and it is very difficult to get them to stop charging your card. They keep sending stuff that you have to pay to send back. Be VERY careful of the confirmation phone call that is recorded b/c they will contort your words and responses to unwittingly get you into other commitments. They will be very aggressive on the phone and require that you clearly say "yes" to all questions -- not "ok" or "yeah" -- because they can use that answer for other things.
You are better off going to GNC and getting the same or similar product with no strings!!!
We have learned Free is never really Free.

I ordered my free trial October 6,2009. A week later I begin to see charges from my checking acct.for $39.00 and another for $46.00. Everytime I call to get my RMA# I am placed on hold for long periods of time. There has to be some legal action we can take to prevent anyone else from the frustration we are now experiencing ourselves. Anyone think it is about time to take some legal action please email me at sexyemae@yahoo.com to begin the process. If we all work together we can stop these type of scams but if we do nothing we are only helping in the stealing of peoples hard earned money.Don't just complain do something about it!Anonymous - Didn't Work
BUYER BEWARE!!!!! B E W A R E I SAY!!!!!!!
I haven't used it yet, and don't think I will & if I'll ever receive the Colopure. But as a result of falling for the scam in the first place thinking it was free other than the $4.95 in shipping, I ordered, and in return gave them an open door to my bank account. The company are a bunch of proud rude theives!!! I can just imagine one of those gluttenous theives in a mansion atop a mountain on a deserted island laughing & gorging their face full of all kinds of goodies purchased with unsuspecting money swindled from every consumer who ever was gullible & naive enough to give them their bank card number. This band of theives will help themselves to your account and take whatever they want whenever they want! If you were like me and got swindled you have to immediately call your bank and cancel your card and have them send you a new one. For an additional fee, your bank will overnite the card to you so you will not have to suffer for 10 days for your mistake. If you just try to block the company thru your bank from being able to charge you, believe me, they will continue charging your card as much as they want posing as other vendors, you will also start receiving other useless products in the mail or maybe not, they'll just claim you did; but nevertheless, you'll be paying thru the nose. If you don't immediately cancel your bank card and have it re-issued, I suggest you go buy yourself a BIG jar of Vaseline.....Because you're gonna need it for your butt!!!!! ONLY buy from a store, or through reputable sites like ebay, amazon, and using paypal.Anonymous - Didn't Work
There are two popular scams now in the works. This one that claims to help you lose weight by getting two "free samples" paying only the shipping charges. And the mom who developed terrific teeth whitening results by getting two free samples -- paying only the shipping charges. I read the fine print -- tells you you are not just getting the samples -- you are subscribing to a premium service that will be billed to your credit card monthly. I've heard rates from $39.95 to nearly $100.00 unless you cancel "any time." But it's difficult to cancel -- as you've seen in the stories on this web page. You see identical stories on the tooth whitening pages. You get shuffled off to other numbers, or told to contact web sites that don't work, then told people will cancel your account as soon as possible -- gaining them a little time to charge your account for extra supplies you never authorized and didn't know you were buying. As a "special" customer, I learned I was also enrolled in a special program called "Skinny.com" and that I could cancel that any time, but if I didn't, they would also begin billing me in two weeks (from the date they received my order for samples) at the rate of $29.95 per month. Everything about these scum-suckers spells Scam. Don't fall for it. If you give them money, you'll never get it back. Cancel everything, and notify your state attorney general's consumer fraud office. And then cancel your credit card. You will begin getting credit threats. Report those as well.
That's what I did. The credit agencies don't like you canceling your card -- but it's still better than putting up with this scam to the tune of hundreds of dollars.
The next thing you should do is let everyone on your email list know what happened. Spread the word. We need to stick together against these idiots who really believe they're entitled to the money you've worked to earn.
Good luck, all,

I believe this is a racket! I ordered the trial, they charged my debit card $1.95 as advertised. A little over a week later they charged my debit card another $59.95. Needless to say, I've been had. My advice is steer clear.Anonymous - Didn't Work

I just ordered it today for the $1.95 SH fee. Then I found this scam alert and it scared me to death! I called my bank about the debit MC I used to order to see if I could cancel any future charges and they said no, that I would have to cancel the debit card number I have and get a new debit card and number. She told me there is a $1.95 charge so far to that company today so I told her to cancel this debit card and order a new debit card which will take 7-10 days. I figured it is best to be safe than sorry and have all kinds of charges to my account. Now I will not have to worry about this horrid company charging my account and I will just keep that bottle without having to return it or pay anything more to this dishonest company. Maybe more of you can cancel and get a new credit card account number before they start charging more to your account, especially if you just ordered the product.Anonymous - Didn't Work
I purchased this product and then decided after the time trial I didn't want to use it anymore so I called to tell them I didn't want anymore and they charged me for the time trial and then I was charged for another bottle. Now I have been charged three other times for monthly fees after I canceled my memebership. When calling about these charges, I was told that each of these charges were from other companies that work with this company. I just checked my cc again today and was charged again for another fee. Please don't buy this product unless you want to throw your money away. I am paying them money for something that I didn't even know about.Anonymous - Didn't Work
Immediately after receiving the product, I opened the package and read the fine print, which indicated that after 10 days, my credit card would be charged $59.95 unless I sent it back. Obviously, not wanting to pay the money I immediately sent it back. I was charged with $59.95 because "they never received the package." They would not give me the money back.Anonymous - Didn't Work
The four people who claimed it worked must work for the company...lol.Anonymous - Didn't Work
Colopure is a racket. They give you this trial offer for a small introductory price and before the trial period is up, they charge you for the full price of the product that does not even work. I was a fool to try it, but hopefully you won't be as foolish as I was. Don't even try the introductory offer. They will get your money and claim that you had it for longer than you did and charge you $59.95 for something that does not do what it claims. I will be filing a complaint.Anonymous - Didn't Work
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM.........DO NOT BUY!!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE OUT TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!Anonymous - Didn't Work
All of the negative experiences described are similar to my experience with this company. Check out the parent company, Central Coast Nutraceuticals on the Better Business Bureau website. They have numerous complaints filed against them, including one from me. They have also been give an "F" rating by the BBB.Anonymous - Didn't Work
Product did not help. If the product was any good at all then they would not have to resort to their questionable marketing tactics and business practices. It was so hard to cancel the automatic shipments that I ended up just closing my credit card. Stay away. I'm surprised they are still in business and have not been sued.Anonymous - Didn't Work
Do not buy this product!!! The customer service is basically non-existent. Wish I would have checked this site before ordering. If you want to cancel it and not be charged, you need to open it, take a pill and right then and there decide if it works as they include shipping time in your "14 day trial". I called and canceled it the day I got it but was still charged the $38.95 amount after I paid for the "free trial" because I didn't return it within the 14 days. However, it took 11 days for me to receive it from the time I ordered. Also, if you cancel right away, Jennifer told me it wasn't their responsibility to inform me to return the rest of the product in order to receive a refund of the 38.95 and that I would still be billed for it.
Bottom line--if you have a product that is legit, any company would stand by that and not try to milk the consumers by offering shady deals like "free trials" that are in no way free or hang up on them when they are questioning the billing procedure. I will definitely be reporting this to the BBB and FTC. These people are making a lot of money on trusting consumers. My guess is their money is made by a lot of first time buyers through unethical billing practices--not the consumers who like the product and want to keep using it.Anonymous - Didn't Work
Actually by the time I got it and found over $200 in charges to my Chase card I was too upset to take it. I called the company and they were totally rude. I was under ther understanding I was purchaseing a trial sample for only the shipping of $5.95. When I got my credit card statement I could not beleve it. A $38. and a $69 then after checking the history we found another $73. My credit card company said thay had had hundreds of calls and this was the biggest scam out there. They did advise me to call Colopure and request a refund. When I did they were very rude and actually hung up on me. I was fortunate to have a good credit card who did crecit me back my money. I will learn not to answer emails like this again. I stil have the unopened bottles.
If colorpure wanted to be a good product, then they should not start off by lying to us. I cannot trust them so why whould I trust their product.

I, like many others I glanced through, have gotten ripped off also!! I talked to the "manager" Heather Lennon and she said that there would be no refund for the charge of $44.90 that has resently appeared on my checking account for the product that I supposedly received. I cancelled my membership over a two months ago and am still being charged. When I asked to speak to her manager or the head of the company, I was informed by her that no one above her would speak with me on the telephone. If that is true then that is poor public relations!!! I intend on doing everything I can to get my money back and make sure that everyone know what a scam this company is!!!!Anonymous - Didn't Work

This is the biggest scam I have found. I have been charged twice for a product that was to be a free 14 day trial. I am filing a fraud case with my bank and with the FCC regarding Colopure and their associates. False advertising of a free trial for shipping charges only and then charging for the free product is against the law.
There was nothing in the packages indicating shipping information. How can you return something that has no information on returns or charges. FRAUD.Anonymous - Didn't Work

Much like taking any over the counter fiber but much more expensive. Did trial offer which really you can only do for about 7 days because of the time it takes to receive and the time it takes to return. Called and sent product back, they had already charged me and then credited me when they said they received it which was conviently 2 days after the 14 day "trial offer" so they charged me a 15% restocking fee. Totally a Scam to get some of your money. Luckily I got some of my money credited but I will call my credit card company and freeze their company from my account.Anonymous - Didn't Work
Didn't notice any change of any kind.... except my credit card was charged regularly.
DRUE BEALL - Didn't Work
First of all, the product was mediocre. Like as well should be expected, but the biggest complaint I have is their unethical business practices. I tried this product over the summer 2008 and am still battling my credit card company over their charge. I found it surprising that your site claims 0 complaints because other web sites show thousands and thousands. Buyer beware. Like 90% of the products out there on the market, they do not work. Their is no Miracle Solution. However there should be an agency that keeps these PIRATES from SWASHBUCKLING consumers. It is NOT OKAY to present a product to the consumer market that #1 is ineffective and #2 a company who has to decieve and/or trick their customers. Companies should be upfront on all levels. Any sype of deceptive advertising or business practices should be dealt with so that #1 other companies will not follow in their footsteps and do the same thing and #2 be harshly fined so that others will see that this is not like taking candy from a baby type thing. Make examples of these shiesty companies. Protect the consumers. As it is it is as if the bad guys have the right to rip consumers off and the consumers have a long, never ending road ahead to try and right the wrong and on their own it can be overwhelming as well as pointless. Most consumers chalk it up to an experience learned and that is the end of it, but that is how these a$$hole$ get rich and it has got to end.
please take the time to read this, it is worth it and it may save you months, literally months of frustration. before i begin, these are scam artists, don't even think of ordering anything from these people.......i ordered this product on the 1st week of december 2008, received it december 24th, 2008 and upon consulting my doctor about this product he told me not to mess with my colon or any product relating to that, he said my colon is fine, so i returned it that very same day after being put on hold for 45 minutes from their 1-888-692-8352 phone number for getting the RMA# from a representative named carter. he then told me it would take about 2 weeks after the warehouse receives it before they get notified so i would not be charged for future subscriptions, so i patiently waited. in january upon reviewing my banking statement i noticed 2 charges of $38.95 and $39.95 had been taken out of my account from colopure which in the 1st place was supposed to be a FREE trial, so i called the 1-888 # to complain about this. after being put on hold for 55 minutes i spoke to an amanda and i gave her all the proper information, the date i mailed it, the RMA# and i indicated to her it was a FREE trial why are they taking money out of my account when in the 1st place it was a FREE trial?? she then said she would refund the amount but they would 1st have to get verification that what i'm telling her is the truth and verification from the warehouse that they did in fact receive my returned product, she said that could take up to 6 weeks!! so i asked to speak to the supervisor {roxy} and she assured me that by january 9th 2009 i should receive the full refund. after reviewing my bank statement on january 10th 2009 there was no refund that roxy had promised me so i called back this time only being placed on hold for 33 minutes and spoke to a paul on january 12th {had to wait for the following monday since my discovery on my bank statement was on a saturday and of course colopure is closed}. paul said he will make absolute sure that my money will be refunded once the warehouse has contacted him that they received my return product, he said my money should be back in the bank by week's end, which is january 16th 2009, i told him i had mailed big packages overseas and it took 2 weeks, why is it taking more than a month to ship from california to colorado? when i reviewed my bank statement on january 16th 2009 the refund still did not happen, so i called and talked to a katy, after being irate because they put me on hold for over an hour she indicated to me the warehouse still did not receive my returned product, she said there was nothing she could do and to call back in 6 weeks!! 6 weeks? we're getting closer to summer time now, this is ridiculous!! i'm a patient retired guy on a fixed income but want full restitution over a company thats trying to scam me and others, and i will try my best to put back most of the money that some companies, namely this company who is trying to steal from me. so i called back on the day she requested, february 6th 2009 and after being placed on hold for an hour and a half, i was explaining to a jennifer the experience i was having with her company and after giving her all the information she then again said they had not received any information on my RMA# from the warehouse and to call back in 2 weeks, i told her they kept deferring me weeks after weeks after weeks that i had been taken around the block since december 24th 2008 and she told me if i don't stop arguing with her she's going to hang up on me, mind you i wasn't raising my voice to her and i was not arguing with the lady, i was just calmly explaining the frustrations i was going through trying to get my money back, she then hung up on me in the middle of a conversation. i immediately called back and was placed on hold this time for only an hour, i spoke to an ana and i told ana that jennifer hung up on me because she did not want to hear or speak to me as a customer, and i posed the question, isn't that your job to talk to customers? i asked to speak to roxy her supervisor and she told me roxy is no longer with the company and that a kenny was now the supervisor, she said he was busy with a customer and if i cared to wait, i told her so far this phone call is nearing 2 hours and if you can believe it, i have things to do! so ana took down my information and she said she can help me with the refund, now i ask, especially jennifer, what was so difficult about that? and she didn't even check with the warehouse? she said she'd refund the amount of $33.10 and $33.95, taking out the difference of $6.85 and $6.00 for shipping charges, i told her i had already paid the shipping charges twice, coming and going, now a 3rd time? she said based on the "no" information she received from the warehouse and only information she received from me, thats the most she's authorized to refund, so as disgruntled as i was i hesitantly accepted. on 02/09/2009 the amount of $33.10 was refunded back into my account and today is 02/16/2009 i haven't seen the $33.95 so of course i called and spoke to lucy. after being placed on hold for only 7 minutes this time {i suggest if your placing a call to these people call at 6:00am PST} she took down my information and said that according to her records both refunds have been done on 02/09/2009, i asked to speak to her supervisor and she said he was not available so she took down my phone number and said he would return my call, i'm still waiting. speaking of waiting, i forgot to mention in the beginning of this complaint letter, on their outgoing message when you call the 1-888 #, the recording indicates if you want faster service write to them on website at www. whatever that was, i did write to them on 12/24/2008 and i'm still waiting for a response, another untrue statement of theirs. i think i've called these people 6 times too many and if i do not receive any positive response from this company i will definitely file a report to the BBB {better business bureau} and FTC {federal trade commission}, and i urge all who have been scammed from this company to do the same in an effort to drive companies like this out of business, and if nothing gets done about my reporting i will at least have the satisfaction of knowing i tried to do something to shut these people down. the way of doing business in this fashion is bad practice and gives honest on-line companies a bad name, especially retirees like myself who rely on on-line shopping. from now on i will only do business with companies that are affiliated with paypal, ebay or amazon.com., i keep a close watch on my bank statements because there are people like these scam artists that maliciously execute harmful acts to people who are on fixed incomes for their wages is not worth spending eternity in the lake of fire. its companies like this that make our economy is in the shape that its in, and why americans go abroad to make purchases because us americans are doing harm to one another. i sincerely hope you read my complaint before you do any kind of business with these people, after i receive my last refund from these people i am going to cancel my bank account so these people have no way of finding me.Anonymous - It Worked
I ordered this product after reading the fine print and kept the subscription for one additional month. I felt it helped me become regular once a day at least, and with no discomfort. Less bloating and no gas here! I called to cancel and was treated with respect. No extra charges occured, and the subscription was cancelled as promised.Anonymous - It Worked
This is a little long but I feel it deserves it. I have always had problems with my bowels. I've had to go to the hospital 3 times in my life (I'm 24 yrs. old) to be, forgive my bluntness, unplugged. I've also had to use laxatives and fiber supplements as my doctor suggested but I would still be lucky to have one, maybe two, bowel movements a week. I would feel bloated and tired and I knew it was because my body was not expelling the toxins as it needed to. I found colopure through a free trial program and, though I hate free trial programs because a lot of companies will cheat you, I ordered it. I followed the instructions on the bottle exactly. It started slowly for me but it worked! I had a BM two days after I started taking it but I figured it was just my time. Then another BM three days later. Then finally after a little more than a week of taking the pills I was having a BM atleast every other day and sometimes 2 days in a row. I started to see the difference in the size of my gut after a couple weeks and I felt more energized. My BMs were more solid too so I KNEW my body was getting rid of the toxins.
Also the customer service reps were easy to work with and I felt I could trust them. I did end up canceling after a few months of using it because I felt I didn't need it anymore. When I called to cancel it was very easy to do so and I got no run arounds from customer service. I'm going to order colopure again soon because it's been a while since I used it and I'm thinking I'm needing another cleansing!Anonymous - Didn't Work
I ordered the sample for a $1. Did about AS much as a spoon of physilium.
Then i was charged twice on my credit card , once for the sample order ( have to admit maybe didn't read fine print). Charge: $38.95
2 weeks later another charge, this time without receiving a product AND without ordering.$44.90
The phone # I called kicked me out out after waiting on line for 20 mins
I will call my credit card co and report it. I don't intend to pay at least not for the second charge.
I believe it to be a scam!Anonymous - Didn't Work
I ordered COLOPURE online and it was shipped Dec.8,2008. I received it on Dec. 13, 2008. I called and cancelled it because it gave me heartburn. I did not order the gum or hoodia water but was charged for it. I told them not to send anymore but when I got my bank statement I have been charged again. Please refund my money that was charged to my account on Dec. 31,2008. I would appreciate it very much as I am on a fixed income and it caused other cheaks to bounce.

I was ripped off!!! Get a free trial for only $1.00 plus the cost of shipping. Yea right! I read the terms and agreements. If you are not happy send the pills back and membership will be canceled. That was a lie!! I sent the pills back on Oct. 20, 2008 First Class Mail someone signed for them @ 9:16 A.M. Then on Oct. 24, 2008 another $45.00 was taken out of my acount! I am very upset over this and if I do not get my money back I will take this a step further!Anonymous - Didn't Work

This trial offer for colopure is a scam. It is intentionally misleading on the terms and also on the return policy that is sent along with the offer. They purposely shipped late to make the \"30 day\" period expired before I could return unused portion. When i called the rep told me that they sent it out and it was returned to them because there was no # on the address. When I finally received the product around Feb.1, about a month after originally ordered, the shipping receipt still read Jan 2. Nice! When I called to cancel the Trial subscription on 2/18 (17 days later), I was told it would be cancelled no problem. I was then billed $38.95 on my credit card. When I called to question this, I was told too bad. They give you 2o days to try it and a 6 day shipping window, so that is why the billing was on the Feb. 14. On the Return Policy it states 30 days and also says this is for unopened unit only, Exceptions made for trial offer. Total scam. They refuse to reverse the charges. p.s. the product did nothing over a 30 day period!!Anonymous - Didn't Work
This did not help me. I think your company should at least refund a person's money if they did not request additional bottles.Anonymous - Didn't Work
it did not do much for me at allAnonymous - It Worked
My belly was definitely flatter after the forst few days. They say that it doesn't cause you to fart- but I didn't find that true. No other side effects. I felt lighter after a few days, too.Anonymous - Didn't Work
This product doesn't do anything. It's not a real colon cleanser. Not only that but after I tried to cancel the AUTO shipment that I didn't even know about, they put me on hold for 30 minutes before talking to anyone.
