Man Dies After Weight Loss Surgery

Thursday, December 17, 2009

A 25 year old man who received therapy for obesity died after liposuction in India.

His family claims he died due to medical negligence. The doctors told police that the man had a massive cardiac arrest after the surgery and died.

It has not been determined whether it was an accidental death or caused by medical negligence, but the death should serve as a reminder of the risks involved in weight loss surgery.

All people considering weight loss surgery should discuss it carefully with a doctor and weigh the pros and cons.
