Staying Calm and Exercising Help to Relieve Stress

Remaining calm and exercising are the keys to stress relief. All of us have the fight or flight response within us, but in the modern world, this is triggered over situations that are not life or death matters, which is raising stress levels.

People get very stressed out about things like exams even though you aren't going to die if you fail. The key to reducing stress to become aware that the stress is created by the mind and then to to put things into perspective. You need to catch yourself before you blow things out of proportion.

Getting regular exercise is also a very effective way to relieve stress. In addition, it will help you sleep more soundly, which also helps you to reduce stress. Other coping mechanisms for stress include humor, time management and communication.
