Candida Albicans is a yeast that resides in our instestines. It also causes vaginal yeast infections. Yeast infections begin in the digestive system and then spread to other body parts.

Candida Albicans is in all of our bodies. Normally it is in a healthy balance with the other bacteria and yeast. However, the Candida yeast can multiply under certain conditions, such as too much stress, low immunity, prolonged antibiotic treatment or steroid use.

Up to 85% of Americans have some degree of Candida yeast infections, however most people don't realize it. Candida yeast can also turn into fungus. If yeast infections get really bad, a woman can have stomach and digestive problems, bloating and even a lack of energy.
